Introduction to Canning and Food Preservation
Learn the difference between water bath and pressure canners, and when to use each. A brief overview of pickling and dehydrating also will be discussed. A great introduction for new canners or for those who may need a refresher. She will have different types of canners on hand and discuss how to use them.
Note: Prior to this presentation, Jackie will be available 4:30-6:00pm to test your dial-gauge canner lid. For safety, this testing should be done annually.
