WAUSAU — Cast and crew members from the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County's production of "Avenue Q" will provide a backstage look at the show 7 p.m. March 12 in the Wausau Room at the Marathon County Public Library Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.

UWMC students and director Sarah Rudolph will discuss techniques for puppet theater and how they put together the show.

Tony-award winning "Avenue Q" opened in March 2003 off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theater in New York and tells the story of Princeton, a recent college graduate who moves to New York and meets a cast of colorful characters who help him find his true purpose in life.

The event is free and open to the public, but is intended for more mature audiences and may not be appropriate for children. No registration is necessary. For more information, call 715-261-7230.
