Panel Presentations: The White Rose & Nazi Resistance

Join us for an evening of presentations on the Nazi resistance movement in Germany and the legacy of the White Rose. The program will be moderated by Jeff Leigh, associate professor of history at UWMC. Eric Yonke, director of international programs at UWSP, will offer his perspective on the nature of resistance prior to the White Rose. Jeffrey Kleiman, professor of history at UW-Marshfield/Wood County will discuss the roots of White Rose co-founder Hans Scholl. Thomas Leek, professor of German language at UWSP, will discuss the legacy of the White Rose in German culture. Funding for this program was provided by the Friends of MCPL. The exhibit is presented by White Rose Foundation e. V. of Munich, Germany.
