*HealthCare.gov | Health Insurance Marketplace -- Created by the federal government, the Marketplace is a new way to find health coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs. Under the new health care law that takes effect 10/1/13, those without health insurance (or interested in different insurance) can use this site to explore their options and register for coverage.
Affordable Care Act: Resources -- In March 2010, President Obama signed comprehensive health reform, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), into law. This page collects resources selected by staff at the Wisconsin Valley Library Service for the consideration of patrons and library staff who want to learn more about this law, its effects and how to participate.
Federal Tax Forms -- From January through April every year, a selection of the most commonly used federal tax forms and publications are available at all Marathon County Public Library locations. Otherwise, most forms and publications can be printed via the IRS website.

Oyez Project -- A multimedia archive devoted to the Supreme Court of the United States and its work. It aims to be a complete source for all audio recorded in the Court since October 1955. The Project also provides information on all justices and a virtual reality tour of portions of the Supreme Court building, including some justices’ chambers.
Statistical Abstract of the U.S. -- An authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States. Sources of data include mostly Federal agencies and a few private organizations.
USA.gov -- The official portal for the U.S. government, featuring military info., federal grant sources, government jobs, tax and social security resources, voting info., national history, resources for families, job opportunities, immigration reports, government statistics, technology, and more!
Wisconsin Blue Book -- Published annually from 1879-1883 and then biennially since 1885, Wisconsin Blue Books provide extensive description and statistics on virtually all aspects of life in Wisconsin, including major sections on the state’s population, geography, history, election data, educational resources, social services, finance, agriculture, industry, transportation system, etc. Various useful lists are also provided, such as of statewide associations, news media, local governmental units, post offices, political parties, etc.
Wisconsin Circuit Court Access -- Provides access to public records of the circuit courts of Wisconsin, searchable by name, county, case number, and other details. These are exact copies of the case information entered by court staff in the counties where the case files are located.
Wisconsin Digital Archives -- A growing electronic collection of full-text documents intended to provide information about Wisconsin government programs.
Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry -- Find Wisconsin sex offenders by name or location. Also offers legal information and services for those affected by sex crimes.
Wisconsin State Law Library -- This resource offers Wisconsin legal forms, databases of state law and local ordinances, landlord/tenant resources, directories of legal assistance, directories of local legal authorities, and information on small claims court, divorce, child support, foreclosure, etc.
Wisconsin Statutes -- The Wisconsin Statutes are a compilation of the general laws of the state of Wisconsin currently in effect that have been given statute section numbers by legislation or supreme court order.
