Sharp Objects

Cover: 'Sharp Objects'

Staff Review: "Sharp Objects" by Gillian Flynn

When Camille's boss assigns her to cover the story of an unsettling murder in her hometown, she is hesitant about her homecoming. Camille will have to face her overbearing, hypochondriac mother and her half-sister, Amma, who Camille knows little about. Even more unsettling, when Camille arrives to her Missouri hometown, another murder occurs under the same circumstances as the first: both victims were young girls who were found with all of their teeth removed. Camille finds herself on a twisted road to uncover the story of these murders and an even more twisted road dealing with her past. This psychological thriller is an excellent read for anyone who enjoys a dark mystery.
