Staff Review: "Summer at Little Beach Street Bakery"
This is the fantastic sequel to the equally fantastic "Little Beach Street Bakery" and was just as heartwarming and completely captivating as the first. Polly, having just bought a lighthouse with her boyfriend Huckle, is happily settled spending her days working in the local bakery that brought the town together. But when a newcomer comes to town, her world comes crashing down. Between her boyfriend having to flee the country and a storm that threatens to destroy the town and everyone in it, Polly is forced to pick herself back up and put all of her strength into rescuing her bakery, her relationship, and her town. I loved this one just as much as the first (which was a lot!). This could be read as a stand alone, but they are both so wonderful that I suggest you read "Little Beach Street Bakery" and then move on to this lovely sequel. I really can't get enough of this author and recommend any of her books. Lovable, humble, and realistic characters always meet beautiful settings and real-life situations.check it out more reviews
