Staff Review: You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)

"You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)" by Felicia Day

Cover: 'You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)'
★★★★

For those of you out there who are wondering who Felicia Day is, once you see her picture you will wonder where you know her from. Many are familiar with her online presence from various geek-doms and others will know her from television and commercials. She reveals a lot about why she became a gamer and how she grew to love that culture. Let's get real guys, this isn't literary gold, but it is a well told story of one woman's experiences online and embracing who she is in the process. This book will make you laugh, get angry, and make you feel like you can do anything and be who you always wanted to be. I was able to really connect with her motivation for doing what she does, as well as her high standard for success in life. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, not just gamers!
