Now is the time when many gardeners are purchasing and planting spring flowering bulbs for early season color.
You can enjoy tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and crocus indoors as a winter flowering treat if you take steps now to prepare the bulbs. Janell Wehr, horticulture educator with Extension Marathon County, will cover bulb selection, planting, cold treatment, and growing, and participants will take home a planted bulb to try this winter!
Free and open to the public and registration is required. Click the “Register” button at the bottom of the page or call 715-261-1241 for more information. Please note the first class of the day will start at 1pm, not our usual 10am, and an identical class will be held at 6pm.
