DESCRIPTION:Join us as we welcome Teddy\, a certified therapy dog and golden retriever\, to MCPL-Wausau! Not only can Teddy bring a smile to your face\, he’s also a willing and friendly listener! Children up to age 11 may bring their favorite books from home or borrow some from the shelves to read aloud to a friendly\, furry companion. This is a great opportunity for kids to practice their literacy skills and have fun! \nThis event is free and no registration is required. Meet us in the Aquarium Room on the fourth Saturday of each month from January to May*. DESCRIPTION:In this afternoon session of the Make It Up series\, we’ll learn simple macramé knotting techniques to create beautiful leaf designs. Dowels\, beads\, and macramé cord will be provided so you can assemble your leaves and turn them into stunning wall décor. The goal of our Make It Up series is to learn how to make things that you would normally just purchase. It is about slow living\, being mindful\, and putting your own handmade effort into each element of a process\, while saving yourself some money and learning a new skill. \nAll supplies will be provided\, just bring your creativity!
