Book Club: "She Stood for Freedom" by Loki Mulholland

Adults Drop by the Edgar Branch each month for a lively discussion on a wide variety of books, including our March pick, "She Stood for Freedom" by Loki Mulholland.

Joan Trumpauer Mulholland was a white teenager in the South during segregation who put herself on the front lines of the civil rights struggle. This biography about her and her experiences detailing the many events she participated in during the Civil Rights Movement.

The book's author, Loki Mulholland, will visit Edgar in March for a speaking engagement organized by A Walk in Their Shoes.
