Effective Communication Strategies for Families Facing Alzheimer's

Effective Communication Strategies for Families Facing Alzheimer's

Adults When a friend or loved one is in the grips of Alzheimer's or Dementia, communication can be a struggle. Join us for a presentation on effective ways to communicate.

JoAnn Janikowski, outreach specialist with the Alzheimer's Association, will provide information aimed at helping families facing Alzheimer's explore effective communication strategies and learn how to decode messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions and body language. We'll have plenty of time for questions, and JoAnn will be available after the presentation to speak privately with individuals.

Free and no registration required. Call the Marathon City Branch for more information.
