A Universe of Stories: Writing Your Own Story
Adults & Teens If you've ever thought about writing the story of your life, or would like to help a family member do it, join us in Marathon City to get an idea what it takes to write an autobiography or memoir!
We'll watch an interview with a famous author in the genre, discuss this genre of writing, and have time to work on our own stories. It may sound overwhelming, but we'll start by focusing on one small episode or memory.
This program is open to all ages with a focus on teens and adults. (The younger kids may draw a picture or write in a "My Story" book.) Patrons should come ready with a memory or event in their lives that they can then spend time writing about after discussion.
Free and registration is appreciated, but not required. Call the Marathon City Branch at 715-443-2775 for more information.
