Apollo 11 Lunar Landing Celebration!

Apollo 11 Lunar Landing Celebration!

All-Ages To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, join us to watch footage of the event as it happened!

This landmark event on July 20, 1969 was the result of President John F. Kennedy's commitment eight years earlier that the United States would be the first country to land a man on the moon.

We'll mark the occasion by showing CBS television coverage of the event, complete with commentary by legendary news anchor Walter Cronkite, and share other information about the event. We might even have time for attendees to share their memories of the moon landing as well!

Free and open to the public, no registration required. Call 715-261-7230 for more information.
