Central Wisconsin Book Festival "Fluid States" With Heidi Czerwiec
Hear poet Heidi Czerwiec during the Central Wisconsin Book Festival, and bring your own work to share during an open mic session prior to Heidi's reading!
Poet and essayist Czerwiec, editor of Poetry City, USA and Assay: A Journal of Nonfiction Studies, will read from her award-winning collection of lyric essays, Fluid States. As an instructor of poetry and creative nonfiction, Heidi has combined her writing endeavors to form hybrid essays about everything from perfumes to dealing with online hate, from motherhood to mushrooms. Heidi currently resides in Minneapolis and enjoys tweeting about #perfumebookpairings.
To get the evening started, we'll have an open mic poetry session from 4-5 p.m., also at Jalapenos, so bring your own to work to share with the rest of us!
Free and open to the public, no registration required. Call 715-261-7230 for more information.
