SUMMARY:Wausau: Extension Gardening: Plan Your Garden
DESCRIPTION:MCPL Wausau is partnering with Extension Marathon County to offer a four-week series of beginner-friendly programs to help anyone interested in growing vegetables this spring. \nJoin us on April 9 for a practical and engaging class on planning a successful vegetable garden. We will explore how to choose crops suited for Wisconsin\, create a garden plan\, and schedule planting for the best results. Learn how crop rotation and succession planting can reduce pests\, improve soil health\, and keep your garden productive all season long. There will be two sessions offered: an afternoon session from 1:30-3:00 p.m. and an evening session from 5:30-7:00 p.m. We will meet in the Community Room. Registration for the evening session 5:30-7:00 is full and is now closed. \nThis free event is open to adults\, with registration required below to secure your spot. In this session\, adults are invited to a presentation that provides a clear overview of Medicare—what the different parts mean and how to navigate them. We will break down Medicare Parts A\, B\, C\, and D\, explain when and how to enroll\, and review the costs associated with each type of coverage.
