DESCRIPTION:Stop by MCPL Wausau during our book sale—hosted by the Friends of MCPL—and you just might find your next treasured item: a book\, a movie or something else from the wide variety of materials available! Our book sale room is packed to the gills with thousands of items that can be yours for low prices. All proceeds from these Friends sales go right back to MCPL to fund all the great programming we do throughout the year\, so it’s a win-win for you and MCPL! \nThe sale will first welcome members of the Friends group only on Wednesday\, April 29 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 p.m. If you’re not a member\, you can fill out an application found online and bring it with you\, or join on the spot! After that\, the sale is open to anyone and everyone on Thursday\, April 30 from 9:30 am to 7:30 p.m. and Friday\, May 1 from 9:30 am to 4:30 p.m. We’ll finish with our popular $6 bag sale on Saturday\, May 2 from 9:30 am to 3:30 p.m. There is no cost to browse! Bring your current project to work on\, and meet with others to swap ideas\, learn new skills\, or simply enjoy some social time. \nThis event is open to adults only and no registration is required. We’ll meet on the first Friday of every month from 1:00-3:00 p.m. *Please note that April’s meetup will be on April 10 as the library is closed April 3.
