Library staff can provide free one-on-one assistance for adults with basic computer and internet skills\, job searching and applications\, Microsoft Office (Word\, Excel\, etc.)\, social media (Facebook\, X\, etc.)\, E-books and library databases\, new computers or mobile devices…and more! \nRegistration is required by calling 715-261-7230. Appointments are available every other Monday from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and on opposite weeks\, every other Wednesday from 11:00-12:00 p.m. If the available times don’t work for you\, we’ll help you schedule another session! Learn all about the services the ADRC-CW offers to help promote independence and well-being for adults 60+ and individuals with disabilities aged 18–59 in Langlade\, Lincoln\, Marathon\, and Wood counties. The ADRC-CW connects people to essential resources\, including benefit counseling\, caregiver support\, healthy living classes\, nutrition programs like Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining\, and volunteer opportunities. \nOffice hours will be held on the first Wednesday of March\, April\, and May from 1:00–3:00 pm. DESCRIPTION:Registration for this event is now full and is closed. Do you want to add some whimsy to your drab windows? This time\, adults are invited to create your own faux stained glass suncatcher! Participants can choose from our pre-leaded designs and fill them in with your own colors to make them come to life! This free event is open to adults only\, with registration required to guarantee your spot and supplies. When you register\, you’ll be able to choose from the following designs: Moon\, Fungi\, Skully\, or Thorns. Staff will pre-lead the design for you\, so bring your creativity to complete the suncatcher and make it your own. \nPlease note that if you register and do not show up on time without giving notice\, your supplies may be given to others\, and will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis.
