DESCRIPTION:Teens are invited to share about their summer! Stop by your local MCPL location after June 1 and pick up a journal page to write about a summer adventure or something that you’ve enjoyed this season. At the end of the summer\, we will bind all of the journal entries together so you can see what others in your community and across Marathon County were up to! Your journal entry must be appropriate and suitable for a general audience. On your journal entry you’ll include your first name\, date\, and MCPL branch location. If you’re completing our Teen Summer Reading Program\, turn your journal entry in for a signature on your Dig Site by August 31. \nThis free event is open to teens\, with no registration\, just stop by any MCPL location to pick up a journal sheet (after June 1) and start writing! DESCRIPTION:Do you need to clean out your board game or puzzle stash? All ages are invited to drop off your gently used puzzles or games and refresh your collections! You can drop them off during open hours at the main circulation desk between August 3-9. Please ensure all puzzles and board game pieces are complete and in good condition. Items can be suitable for any age group. Then\, come back to pick up an item or two to take home with you from August 10-15. You do not need to donate an item to participate in the swap! DESCRIPTION:Stop by MCPL Wausau during our book sale—hosted by the Friends of MCPL—and you just might find your next treasured item: a book\, a movie or something else from the wide variety of materials available! Our book sale room is packed to the gills with thousands of items that can be yours for low prices. All proceeds from these Friends sales go right back to MCPL to fund all the great programming we do throughout the year\, so it’s a win-win for you and MCPL! \nThe sale will first welcome members of the Friends group only on Wednesday\, August 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 p.m. If you’re not a member\, you can fill out an application found online and bring it with you\, or join on the spot! After that\, the sale is open to anyone and everyone on Thursday\, August 6 from 9:30 am to 7:30 p.m. and Friday\, August 7 from 9:30 am to 4:30 p.m. We’ll finish with our popular $6 bag sale on Saturday\, August 8 from 9:30 am to 3:30 p.m. There is no cost to browse!
