DESCRIPTION:We are partnering again with Honor Flight to provide handmade cards for veterans to read on the Never Forgotten Honor Flight trip home from Washington D.C. this spring. Locals can show their support by making cards to be handed out during mail call. “Mail Call” is one of the highlights for the veterans on the Never Forgotten Honor Flight\, so let’s make it even more special for them. \nAll ages are invited to participate\, and all supplies will be provided. DESCRIPTION:Children are invited to create a still-life drawing of the MCPL Triceratops\, Thunderfoot! A still-life drawing features inanimate objects or a model used for reference. Our model will be Thunderfoot! They’re the perfect model\, well able to “hold” a pose. Participants will gather around the MCPL Triceratops on the first floor and use a variety of drawing supplies to create their artwork. Get a head start by checking out some of our many books on triceratops dinosaurs to practice! \nThis event is open to children ages 6–11\, with no registration required.
