DESCRIPTION:MCPL Wausau is partnering with Extension Marathon County to offer a four-week series of beginner-friendly programs to help anyone interested in growing vegetables this spring. Healthy soil and smart planting go hand in hand. Join us on April 16 for an engaging class to learn what makes soil thrive\, why organic matter matters\, and how pH affects nutrients in plant growth. We will discuss practical ways to start seeds and use transplants successfully\, including the pros and cons of each approach. There will be two sessions offered: an afternoon session from 1:30-3:00 p.m. and an evening session from 5:30-7:00 p.m. We will meet in the Community Room. \nThis free event is open to adults\, with registration required below to secure your spot. Participants are invited to attend as many sessions in this series as they’d like. It is not a requirement to attend all. For more information\, contact 715-261-7230. \nRegister
