SUMMARY:Wausau: Paper Mâché Amphoras
DESCRIPTION:Join us this afternoon to build your own amazing amphoras out of cardboard and paper mâché. Amphoras are two-handled clay vessels with narrow necks and sturdy bodies used for storing goods like olive oil and grain. Some were decorated with depictions of events\, the gods\, or everyday life. All supplies will be provided\, just bring your artistry and be ready to put your own spin on an iconic part of ancient Greece. \nThis free event is open to teens\, with registration required to secure your spot and supplies. Registration will open one month prior on July 20. We’ll meet in the Community Room from 2:30-4:30 p.m. For more information\, contact 715-261-7220.
