SUMMARY:Wausau: DIY Trinket Dish
DESCRIPTION:Adults are invited to get creative and decorate their own clay trinket dish perfect for holding jewelry\, keys\, and other small items. Library staff will prepare the clay dishes ahead of time\, so they’ll be dry and ready to decorate! Using decorative cocktail napkins\, participants will learn a simple decoupage technique by applying the designs to their dishes with Mod Podge. To finish\, add a touch of metallic gold paint around the edges for a polished look. \nThis free program is open to adults\, with registration required\, as space and supplies are limited. Library staff can provide free one-on-one assistance for adults with basic computer and internet skills\, job searching and applications\, Microsoft Office (Word\, Excel\, etc.)\, social media (Facebook\, X\, etc.)\, E-books and library databases\, new computers or mobile devices…and more! Registration is required by calling 715-261-7230. Appointments are available every other Monday from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and on opposite weeks\, every other Wednesday from 11:00-12:00 p.m. If the available times don’t work for you\, we’ll help you schedule another session. \nWhen you arrive for your appointment\, please check-in at the second floor Reference Desk.
