Library staff can provide free one-on-one assistance for adults with basic computer and internet skills\, job searching and applications\, Microsoft Office (Word\, Excel\, etc.)\, social media (Facebook\, X\, etc.)\, E-books and library databases\, new computers or mobile devices…and more! \nRegistration is required by calling 715-261-7230. Appointments are available every other Monday from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and on opposite weeks\, every other Wednesday from 11:00-12:00 p.m. If the available times don’t work for you\, we’ll help you schedule another session! DESCRIPTION:In this afternoon session of the Make It Up series\, we’ll learn simple macramé knotting techniques to create beautiful leaf designs. Dowels\, beads\, and macramé cord will be provided so you can assemble your leaves and turn them into stunning wall décor. The goal of our Make It Up series is to learn how to make things that you would normally just purchase. It is about slow living\, being mindful\, and putting your own handmade effort into each element of a process\, while saving yourself some money and learning a new skill. \nAll supplies will be provided\, just bring your creativity! This free event is open to adults only. Registration is required\, and is full at this time. If you registered and need to cancel\, please contact us so we can make room for others.
