Mary is a Spencer local and just finished her second book\, titled “Lily of the Valley” as part of her “Ratting on a Fish” series! Mary will talk about her new book and answer audience questions. Copies of her books will also be available to purchase at the event. \nLily of the Valley description: The books tell of Anna Jarvi’s loss of her first love along with the challenge of her striving to follow her dreams. All in her immigrant family have had setbacks\, but they are determined to succeed. Throughout the book are sprinkled threads of love\, humor\, and zeal. \nThis free event is open to the public; no need to have read the book prior or be involved in the library’s book club.
