Wed., 6/21/17, 9am - Sat., 9/30/17, 8pm @ MCPL Wausau
The Marathon County Public Library is happy to participate in the collection of knit and crocheted hats for babies as part of the Wisconsin CLICK for Babies campaign.

All nine MCPL locations will serve as drop-off sites for anyone who wishes to knit and donate a cap for babies, which is part of a package of items new parents receive in an effort to raise awareness of Shaken Baby Syndrome.

Anyone who knits or crochets a cap is asked to create one that is at least 50 percent purple. As a general rule, caps should have a circumference of 14 in. (13 in.-15 in.) and a height of 4 in-6 in.

Free patterns and more information about the campaign can be found here.
