Athens: Live Oregon Trail

Join us for a live version of the popular Oregon Trail video game! Throughout the day, groups of up to eight people will “travel” around the Athens Library by rolling dice to determine what happens next. Rolling an even number means the group moves west on the board. Roll an odd number and who knows? You might get more supplies or your group might have to deal with a calamity like the dreaded cholera! If even one member of your party survives to reach Oregon, the whole group wins the game! Free and open to all ages, each session lasts up to 30 minutes.
On March 6 the first session begins at 1:30 pm and the last session will be at 6:00 pm. On March 7 the first session begins at 10:30 am and the last session begins at 3:00 pm. Registration is required and can be done by calling the Athens Library at 715-257-7292. Bring your own traveling party or sign up yourself and join others!
