Mosinee: Book Club: “The River We Remember” by William Kent Krueger
Join our Mosinee staff and other book lovers for engaging discussions of a variety of books each month! In September, the group will discuss “The River We Remember” by William Kent Krueger.
On Memorial Day in Jewel, Minnesota, the body of wealthy landowner Jimmy Quinn is found floating in the Alabaster River, dead from a shotgun blast. The investigation falls to Sheriff Brody Dern, a highly decorated war hero who still carries the physical and emotional scars from his military service. The sheriff struggles to solve the murder that has the town up in arms, while putting to rest the demons from his own past.
