Come join us for our November book club to discuss “Great Big Beautiful Life” by Emily Henry.

Two writers are selected to compete for the opportunity to write the biography of Margaret Ives, a reclusive and once-famous heiress. Alice Scott, an aspiring author, and Hayden Anderson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, are invited to Little Crescent Island, where Margaret offers them a one-month trial period before choosing who will tell her story. Each writer is given different parts of Margaret’s life under strict non-disclosure agreements, preventing them from sharing information. As the month progresses, both writers navigate their professional ambitions, complex interpersonal dynamics, and the unfolding mystery of Margaret’s past, which is marked by scandal, tragedy, and intrigue.
