Wausau: Studio Art: Latch Hook Wall Art

You’re invited to another session in our Studio Art series! This session will focus on the fiber art of latch hooking. Latch hooking is both an art and a craft in which small loops of yarn are knotted onto a canvas base. Traditionally, it was used to make rugs and cushions, but today, you can see modern, beautiful wall-hangings made with this technique. We will be using yarn, latch hooks, wooden dowels, and beads to create your own abstract hanging wall art with a retro spin.
No experience is needed and beginners are welcome! This free event is open to adults only and registration is required to guarantee your supplies.
