Wausau: Surprise Book Swap

Do you have a pre-loved book that you’d like to give away for someone else to unwrap and enjoy?

Young adults and adults are welcome to participate in our surprise book swap! Bring in a gently used book between December 8-12 and wrap it at our gift wrap station, set up on the second floor. Then, you’ll write a brief description of the book, but be careful not to give away the title, author, or obvious hints! You’ll drop off your wrapped book at the Reference Desk and sign up for the swap on Saturday, December 13 to pick up a book in exchange. For the swap, stop by the Community Room from 9:30-12:30 to “shop” for your next read to keep & take home with you!

This free event is open to young adults and adults only. Please be sure to register and sign up for the swap ahead of time when you drop off your book. You can bring your book pre-wrapped if you’d prefer. For more information, please contact us at 715-261-7230.
