Wausau: Teen One-Shot: Trials of the Dark Forest

On the edge of a great pine forest just out of the reach of the boughs is a small village without a name. Outsiders passing through to stay at the inn just call it Rest. They quickly learn that the forest at night is not a place to be alone, for beneath the canopy is a dangerous den of howls and snarls where swift paws pad. You have seen better inns, but at the end of a long day’s travel, this one is good enough. Just as you are settling in, the front door suddenly bangs open, revealing a distraught young woman. “My daughter!” she cries. “They’ve taken my daughter!”
