Wausau: Family Story Time w/ author Kelly Nelson

Join us for a special story time at MCPL Wausau featuring author Kelly Nelson, who will talk about her new book “Brownie the War Dog” on Veterans Day.
We’ll get things started at 10 a.m. with some regular story time activities and share a few dog-themed books. After that, Kelly will take over and share a little of her book about Brownie, a family pet that served in WWII and became a friend to wounded veterans after the war. Kelly also will talk about the Dogs for Defense program.
(If you’re an adult who’s just interested in learning about Brownie and the adult aspects of the story, feel free to join us around 10:30 a.m. after the regular story time.)
