This afternoon session of the Studio Art series will focus on imperfection in art. Wabi-sabi is a Japanese aesthetic that appreciates beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. We will be using Kintsugi, the art of visible mending, to create one-of-a-kind art that highlights and celebrates imperfections in our art rather than disguising it. Join us at the library for a relaxing afternoon of painting with acrylic on canvas and emphasizing our art with metallic gold.
All supplies will be provided. This event is free and open to adults, with registration required. Registration for this event is now full and has been closed. For more information, please contact us at 715-261-7230.
