Join us for our last Extension Gardening class of 2024 to learn about growing microgreens, and take a kit home with you to try it over the winter!
Microgreens are the young, tender shoots of plants that are harvested just after the first few leaves have developed. They are packed with nutrients and have a concentrated flavor, making them a popular addition to salads, sandwiches, and other dishes. Microgreens can be grown indoors and are easy to grow. Join us in this program, led by Extension’s Janell Wehr, where we will learn how to successfully grow microgreens and everyone will take a kit to try at home.
Open to the public but supplies are limited so registration is required. Click the “Register” button this page to sign up or call the Extension office at 715-261-1241 for more information.
An identical class will be held at 10am on Thursday, December 12 in MCPL Wausau’s Community Room.
