This afternoon session of the Studio Art series will focus on imperfection in art. Wabi-sabi is a Japanese aesthetic that appreciates beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. We will be using Kintsugi, the art of visible mending, to create one-of-a-kind art that highlights and celebrates imperfections in our art rather than disguising it. Join us at the library for a relaxing afternoon of painting with acrylic on canvas and emphasizing our art with metallic gold.
