Kids are encouraged to visit the Wausau library to adopt a stuffed animal reading buddy!
We’ve hosted plenty of sessions of reading to a therapy dog, and we’ve even had some stuffed animal sleepovers, and this is sort of like a combination of the two! Young ones will be able to select their favorite from a variety of animals, fill out an adoption certificate, make their new friend a collar and more. The stuffie they adopt is theirs to take home and keep forever – to read to, snuggle with or as a new friend for their other stuffies!
No prior registration is required. Stuffed animals will either be new or lightly used and in great condition. Available while supplies last! Call 715-261-7220 for more information.
