Wausau: Upcycled Fashion

Did you know that the average US consumer throws away around 81.5lbs of clothes every year?

Teens are invited to bring new life to some of your old T-shirts and clothes, AND keep them out of the landfill. Come to the library and we will have all the supplies needed to highlight your own personal style. Cropping sleeves and shirts, cutting fringe, embroidery, bleach art, patch making, and mending are a few things you can do to upcycle your clothes!
