Thanks to her marriage to a powerful Austrian arms dealer, Hedy Kiesler has been able to evade Nazi persecution despite her Jewish heritage. But at a lavish party in Vienna in 1937, Hedy overhears the Third Reich's plans. She flees Europe and relocates to Hollywood, where she becomes a star of the silver screen. All along, Hedy hides the fact that she's a scientist, and forms a plan to help the country before it's too late.
