Find reviews and comparisons of consumer products and services from “Consumer Reports” magazine, including articles from 1991 to the current issue​. For best results, please refer to the instructions below.

Please note: This database contains digital copies of printed Consumer Reports publications, not online content from www.consumerreports.org. 

Instructions

After you select the “access” link above:

• To view a specific issue, use the “All Issues and Articles” menu.

• To search multiple issues at once:

  1. Select “Search within this publication.”

  2. You will see a search box with the text “JN ‘Consumer Reports'”; do not delete this text. 

  3. Add the word “AND” and your search term(s) at the end of the search box text — e.g. “JN ‘Consumer Reports’ AND Vacuums” — and select “Search.”

• To access the “Consumer Reports Buying Guide” and other Consumer Reports publications:

  1. Select “PUBLICATIONS” in the main menu (under the ≡ menu icon on mobile devices).

  2. In the “Browsing: MasterFILE Complete — Publications” blank, type “Consumer Reports” and select “Browse.”

  3. Select the title of the publication you want from the resulting list.
