Central Wisconsin Book Festival
Mark your calendars for the eighth annual Central Wisconsin Book Festival, September 26–28 — featuring 20+ authors in Wausau, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids!Â
Our dedicated group of festival organizers has worked throughout the year to put together what we think will be a fantastic lineup of guests. Fiction and non-fiction, sci-fi/fantasy, children’s, poetry … this year’s festival has so much to offer!Â
Our headline event features internationally bestselling author David Wroblewski, who will discuss his new novel “Familiaris” and sign copies of his books Saturday, September 28 at the Dreyfus University Center, UW-Stevens Point.Â
Other events include:Â
Fiction author Andrew Graff reading from his newest novel (set in Wisconsin), “True North,” at MCPL Wausau.Â
Wisconsin author Hannah Morrissey—whose work has drawn rave reviews from the likes of C. J. Box—will appear at the Portage County Public Library.Â
Fiction author Lindsay Starck, who calls Minnesota home, will share her new novel, “Monsters We Have Made,” during an event at the McMillan Memorial Library in Wisconsin Rapids.Â
We’ve also partnered with the Center for the Visual Arts in Wausau on the reception for one of their newest exhibits, an art and poetry mash-up titled “Gathering.”Â
For a full list of these free events, visit www.mcpl.us/cwbf, or look for the printed schedule, available in early September at your local MCPL.Â
