Ancestry: Library Edition
With over 1.2 billion records in over 3,000 databases, Ancestry is a comprehensive online source of information available for conducting genealogical and local history research.

Archive of Wisconsin Newspapers
Archive of Wisconsin Newspapers covers full-text daily and weekly Wisconsin newspapers from 2005 to 90 days ago, as well as 13 historical Wisconsin newspapers from the 1800s and 1900s. Each newspaper is available cover to cover in a searchable PDF format.

AtoZ Databases
Discover businesses, people, jobs and more! AtoZdatabases includes whitepages and yellowpages phone and address listings, plus a wealth of additional information. It is ideal for finding friends and relatives, researching local businesses, finding employment opportunities, developing sales leads and mailing lists, market research, background searches, and many other possibilities.

Booklist Reader
Booklist Reader is a digital magazine that features diverse reading recommendations for readers of all ages. Monthly issues are filled with high-interest, themed lists that showcase books patrons can read and check out now.

Central Wisconsin Digitization Project
A consortium of libraries, historical societies, genealogical societies and museums committed to preserving and disseminating the history of Marathon and Lincoln Counties through the digitization of original sources and artifacts and their subsequent publication on the internet. Includes the collections “Railroads of Lincoln and Marathon Counties” and “Libraries and Schools in Marathon and Lincoln Counties.”

Consumer Reports
Find reviews and comparisons of consumer products and services from “Consumer Reports” magazine, including articles from 1991 to the current issue.

Digital Sanborn Maps 1867-1970
Sanborn maps are large-scale plans of a city or town, drawn at a scale of 50 feet to an inch. They were created to assist fire insurance companies as they assessed the risk associated with insuring a particular property. The maps list street blocks and building numbers, including numbers in use at the time the map was made and pervious numbers.

Gale Courses
Gale Courses offers a wide range of highly interactive, instructor-led courses that you can take entirely online, for free. Courses run for six weeks, and new sessions begin every month. Gale Courses is well-suited for people who want a self-paced learning environment and engagement with fellow students and an instructor.

Heritage Quest

NoveList Plus
A reader’s advisory service designed to help you find information about authors, specific books, series information, “read-a-likes” (books similar to ones you enjoy), book and author reviews, book lists, teaching guides and more!
NoveList reading recommendations are also featured in the Library Catalog (V-Cat) when you view the detailed record for an item (under “more like this,” “similar titles,” “similar authors,” etc.).

Statistical Abstract of the U.S.
The ProQuest Statistical Abstract of the United States is the authoritative and comprehensive summary of statistics on the social, political and economic conditions of the United States.
